LOS TIEMPOS VERBALES EN INGLÉS :
ESTRUCTURAS GRAMATICALES.

• PRESENTE

 Simple Present (Presente Simple)

Afirmativa: Sujeto + Verbo principal + Compl.
Ej: He/ She/ it Works
Él/ ella/ ello trabaja

Negativa: Sujeto + Verbo Aux (DO) +not +Vp +Comp
Ej: He/ she/ it does not walk to home
Él / ella / ello no quiere andar a casa
Ej2: I /You / We/ They do not have money
Yo /Tú /Nosotros /Ellos no tengo/ tienes/ tenemos / tienen dinero.

Interrogativa: DO + Sujeto + Vp + Compl.
Ej: Do you remember his name?
¿Recuerdas su nombre?

 Continuous Present (Presente Contínuo)
Este tiempo se usa para decir cosas que estan pasando al mismo al mismo tiempo que estamos hablando).
Por eso los verbos principales de las oraciones siempre van en GERUNDIO.

Afirmativa: Sujeto + Vaux(to be) +Vp (GERUNDIO)
Ej: I am playing football
Yo estoy jugando a futbol

Negativa: Sujeto + Vaux +NOT +Vp (GERUNDI)
Ej: I am NOT playing football
Yo no estoy jugando al futbol
 Perfect Present (Presente perfecto)

Afirmativa: Sujeto + Vaux(have) +Vp(PARTICIPI)
Ej: I have worked here
Yo he ttrabajado aquí
Ej: He has worked here
Yo he trabajado aquí

Negativa : Sujeto + Vaux(have) + NOT + Vp(PARTICIPI)
Ej: I have not (haven’t) worked here
Yo no he trabajado aquí
Ej: He has not (hasn’t) worked here
Él no ha trabajado aquí

Interrogativa: Vaux(have) + Sujeto +Vp(PARTICIPI)
Ej: Have you worked here?
Has trabajado tú aquí?
Ej: Has he worked here?
Ha trabajado él aquí?

Present perfect after superlative (Presente perfecto después de Superlativo).
It’s the best bullfight Y have ever seen.
Es la mejor corrida de toros que he visto.
Present Perfect with ever and Past Simple (Pres. Perfecto con ever y Presente Simple):
Have you ever seen a bullfight? Yes, I have. I saw one last month
Has visto alguna vez una corrida de toros? Sí, ví una el mes pasado.

 Perfect Continuous Present (Presente perfecto Contínuo)

Afir.: S + Vaux(HAVE) +Partic. de TO BE(BEEN) + Vp(GERUN)
Ej: I have been working here
Yo he estado trabajando aquí.
Ej: He has been working here
Él ha estado trabajando aquí

Neg.: S + Vaux(HAVE) + NOT +Part to be(BEEN) + Vp(GERUN)
Ej: I have not been working (Yo no he estado trabajando)
Ej: He has not been working (Ël no ha estado trabajando)
Interrog: Vaux(HAVE) + S + BEEN + Vp (Ger)
Ej: Have you been working.
Has estado trabajando?
Ej: Has she been working?
Ha estado ella trabajando?

• PASADO

 Simple Past (Pasado Simple)

Afirm: Sujeto + Verbo principal (pasado) + Compl.
Ej: I worked here
Yo trabajé aquí.

Neg: Sujeto + Vaux(DID)+ NOT + Vp + Compl.
Ej: I did not (didn’t) work here.
Yo no trabajé aquí.

Int: Vaux (DID) + S + Vp(INFINITIVO)
Ej: Did you play football yesterday?
Jugaste al futbol ayer?

 Continuous Past (Pasado Contínuo).

Afir: S:+ Vaux:Pasado de to be (was/were) + Vp(GERUNDI)
Ej: You were playing here
Tú estuviste jugando aquí
Ej: He was playing here
Él estuvo jugando aquí

Neg: S:+ Vaux (was/were) + NOT+ Vp(GERUNDI)
Ej: I were not (weren’t) playing here
Yo no estuve jugando aquí
Ej: He was not (wasn’t) playing here
Él no estuvo jugando aquí


Int: Vaux + S + Vp (GERUNDI)
Ej: Were you playing here?
Has estado jugando aquí?
Ej: Was he playing here?
Ha estado jugando aquí?

 Perfect Past (Pasado Perfecto): Tambien llamado Pasado en el Pasado (Past in The past). Porque hace referencia a sucesos ocurridos antes de uno ocurrido en el pasado.

Afir: S + HAD ( pasado de HAVE) + Vp (PARTICIPIO)
Ej: I had worked...
Yo había trabajado...

Neg: S + HAD + NOT + Vp (PART)
Ej: I had not (hadn’t) worked...
Yo no había trabajado...

Int: HAD + S + Vp(PART)
Ej: Had you worked...?
Habías trabajado...?

• FUTURO

El futuro se puede espresar en varias formas:
 Simple Present (S + V)
Se usa siempre que hablemos de horarios o tiempo..
Ej: The boys start school on Monday
Los niños empiezan el colegio el Lunes
Ej: What times does the train leaves ? It leaves at...
A que hora sale el tren? El tren sale a ...
 Continuous Present (S + Vaux(to be) + Vp (gerundio))
Se usa para expresar acuerdos o citas para un futuro cercano. Siempre lleva un tiempo adverbial.
Ej: I am playing fotball TOMORROW
Yo jugaré a futbol mañana.


 “BE” + GOING TO

1. INTENCIÓN: Referéncia a una cosa bien pensada y planificada que vas a realizar.
Ej:I’m GOING TO study Computer Science at UPV.
Yo estudiaré Informática en la UPV.
2. PREDICCIÓN: Predicción de un futuro muy seguro.
Ej: It’s Cloudy. It’ s GOING TO rain
Está nublado. Va a llover.

 Modales SHALL/WILL

Afir: S + Vaux(Shall / Will) + Vp(infinitivo sin TO)
Ej: I will/shall play football
Yo jugaré a futbol.

Neg: S + Vaux(Shall / Will) + NOT + Vp(inf sin TO)
Ej: I will/shall not play football
Yo no jugaré a futbol.

Inter: Vaux + S + Vp(infinitivo sin TO)
Ej: Shall / Will he play football?
Jugará él a futbol?
 Continuous Future (Future As a matter of Fact)
Futuro contínuo ( El futuro como un hecho)

S + WILL+ Vaux(to be) + Vp (Gerundio)

 Perfect Future (Past in the future)
Futuro perfecto (El pasado en el futuro)

S + WILL+ Have (sin TO) + Vp (Participio)



• CONDICIONAL
Existen tres clases de condicional:

 Probable

Presente Futuro
If you go to England You will see the Queen
Si vas a Inglaterra Tú verás a la Reina


 Improbable

Pasado WOULD + INFINITIVO
If you went to England You would see the Queen
Si fueras a Inglaterra Podrías ver a la Reina

 Imposible

Pasado perfecto WOULD + infinit. de Pres. Pref.
If you had gone to England You would have seen the Queen
Si hubieras ido a Inglaterra Hubieras visto a la Reina.

 Otros condicionales

Si no juegas al futbol, yo jugaré por ti.




• Imperativo

He /She/ We.. (orderen/ asked)+ inf. con TO
Ej: Don’t go across the river, he told me
No cruces el rio, me dijo
Imperativo: He told me NOT TO GO across the river



• Relative Sentences (Frases de Relativo)

 Things OBJECT (Las cosas, animales... como objeto) 

 Things POSSESSIVE (Posessivos de las cosas) OF WHICH

The chair has a broken leg
La silla tiene una pata rota
The chair, the leg of which is broken is over there.
The chair is over there La silla, la pata de la cual está rota, está allí


• HAVE + Something (cosa que se hace) + DONE (part. del verbo usado)
Esta estructura se usa para decir cosas que hacenos pero que no las hacemos personalmente, sino que las hace una persona especializada en esa cosa.

Tengo que cortarme el pelo
I have my hair cut
HAVE+ SOMETHING + DONE

Me estoy pintando casa
I’m having my house painted

He reparado mi coche
Y have had my car repaired

*Los tiempos verbales vienen dado por la frase a traducir.

• PASIVA
Se utiliza para deicir que se hace y no quién lo hace

* El CN ira precedido por BY si nos da información (sólo personas concretas), si no nos da información se puede elidir.
• Estilo Indirecto
Segunel tiempo verbal de la frase dada en estilo directo habremos de transformar este verbo para ponerlo en estilo indirecto.
Los verbos se transforman de esta manera:

EJEMPLOS

*Preguntas con palabras que empiezan por Wh...

Directo: She wanted to know: “Why has he gone to America?”
Ella quería saber: “Por qué él ha ido a América?”
Indirecto: She wanted to know why he had gone to America
Ella quería saber poque él había ido a América.

*Preguntas con respuesta SI-NO
(Yes-No Questions respuesta If + S +V +Compl)
Directo: She wanted to know: ”Did you understand the question?”
Ella quería saber: “Entendiste la pregunta?”
Indirecto: She wanted to know if you had understood the question
Ella queria saber si tu habías entendido la pregunta.

• Preferencias
Se usa para decir las preferencias de cada uno.

Would Like TO + Infinitivo I would like to go to France
Me gustaría ir a Francia
Would Rather + Inf. Sin TO I would rather stay to France
Preferiría estar en Francia
Would Prefer TO + Infinitivo I would prefer to go to France
